Introduction Welcome to [Bollywar](https://bollywar.com/?ref=help), an entertainment community where users can participate in actor and movie battles, share opinions, follow stars, and appreciate their favourite celebrities. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of [Bollywar.com](http://Bollywar.com) and its features. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the platform. ## 2. About Bollywar BollyWar is an independent, community-driven entertainment platform. Its features include: * **Battles:** Participate in polls comparing two actors or two movies, vote for an option, like and comment on battles, and create your own battles. * **Stars:** Explore star profiles, follow stars privately, and discover related battles and notes. * **Movies:** Explore movie pages and battles associated with particular movies. * **Fan Wall:** Write short appreciation notes for your favourite stars. * **User Profiles:** Curate your battles and notes, manage your username, and access available account settings. *Bollywar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with any actor, celebrity, production house, film studio, media organization, public relations agency, or other individual featured on the platform.* ## 3. Eligibility and Accounts You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining an account. You are responsible for: * Keeping your login credentials secure. * All activities carried out through your account, subject to applicable law. * Maintaining access to your registered email address where required for account recovery. * Ensuring that your username and profile content comply with these terms and our community policies. You must not impersonate another person, create accounts for deceptive purposes, or attempt to access another user's account. *You may edit your username and reset your password through the available account settings and recovery features.* ## 4. User-Generated Content Users may create battles, vote in polls, post comments, and publish Fan Wall notes. By submitting content, you confirm that: * You have the right to submit the content. * Your content does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others. * Your content complies with Bollywar's [Content Policies](https://help.bollywar.com/legal/content-policies.md) and [Code of Conduct](https://help.bollywar.com/legal/code-of-conduct.md). You retain ownership of the original content you create. However, you grant Bollywar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and promote the platform. You must not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, threatening, misleading, infringing, or otherwise prohibited by our policies. *Bollywar may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the community.* ## 5. Battles, Voting and Privacy Battles are intended for entertainment, discussion, and sharing opinions. * User-created battle questions must contain fewer than 150 characters. * Each battle must follow the platform's available format and rules. * Voting is private by default. Other users cannot see which option you selected merely by visiting your profile or the battle. * If you share a screenshot after voting, your selected option may be visible through the tick mark and the "*Your pick*" indicator. * Your decision to share such a screenshot is voluntary, and you are responsible for any information it reveals. *Bollywar does not guarantee that every battle, vote, comment, or result will remain available indefinitely.* ## 6. Star Following and Profiles Following a star is a personal preference. Your list of followed stars is private and is not displayed to other users. Your profile may display battles, notes, and other information you choose to make available through the platform. Do not assume that content you publish publicly is private. *Bollywar may modify profile features and visibility settings as the platform evolves.* ## 7. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Data The Bollywar name, branding, website design, and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Names, photographs, descriptions, metadata, and other information relating to stars and movies may be sourced from The Movie Database ([TMDB](https://www.themoviedb.org)) and other permitted sources. Bollywar does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or timely updating of third-party information. Such information may contain errors or become outdated. Third-party names, trademarks, images, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on Bollywar does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Users must not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content or third-party materials in violation of applicable rights. ## 8. Prohibited Activities You must not: * Harass, threaten, bully, or target other users. * Post unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited content. * Impersonate celebrities, public figures, or other individuals. * Manipulate votes, abuse platform features, or use bots to disrupt participation. * Attempt to compromise the security or availability of the website. * Scrape, collect, or misuse user information without proper authorization. * Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights. Availability and Changes Bollywar is currently provided without a paid membership or monetization requirement. We may introduce paid features, advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions, or other commercial arrangements in the future. Any applicable pricing and terms will be communicated on the website before they take effect. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or introduce features at our discretion, subject to applicable law. *We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will always be free from errors.* ## 10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability Bollywar is an independent entertainment platform provided on an "*as is*" and "*as available*" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, poll results, third-party information, or opinions expressed by users. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bollywar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. ## 11. Suspension and Termination You may stop using Bollywar at any time.
